Ladies’ Cocktail Night at BMYS
Anita Giuliano as the Commodore’s wife hosted the 2025 Ladies Cocktail Party. This year featured a 1970s disco theme - ‘Boogie Nights’.
All the ladies who attended put much effort into dressing up and running with the theme.
Several cocktails being served to the ladies included Pornstar martinis and Pina Coladas.
Jon the DJ got everyone up dancing on the special catwalk style flashing dance floor with a real Saturday Night Fever look. That dance floor was an absolute hit! Our chef Armin kept the ladies fed with some great finger food going around the room throughout the evening.
There was a fashion parade with the top eight ladies strutting their stuff with much cheering from the crowd. The winner was Helen Petsios (cover picture for this news item). Other great finalists included Cindy Jackman, Jane Baker, Jenny Whiteside, Noelyn Shacklock, Kate Pashos, Sanee Thongpond and Maryanne Chamberlain.
Lots of the ladies dressed up in amazing outfits to keep the fun running through the night. It was a fantastic night for the ladies to mingle and socialise, and make new friends. Many commented that this was the best ladies cocktail party ever. One thing for sure. Everyone had a great time.
Meanwhile downstairs the chauffeurs were having a barbecue, listening to all the fun happening upstairs. The men joined the party upstairs after 8:30 pm and this continued until after 11 pm. What a fun night!
