Commodores Cup NavRally 2026
Competitors enjoyed a lovely Autumn morning with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Conditions were ideal for running a Nav Rally and led to some solid scores from the field.
The Commodores Cup is a favourite Nav Rally event on the calendar. This year's course heading West from the club and then around Ricketts Point before heading out into Beaumaris Bay. After some longer legs the boat returned past Table Rock to the finish at BMYS.
Congratulations to Bill Joughin skipper of Spirit Level for winning the event with a great score of 27 points.

3rd Place‚ Purple Dolphin on 62 points. Anita and John Giuliano
Noel McNicol and Ben Fletcher supported the event on water with the Parkdale Yacht Club Rescue boat. Thanks to John Regester, Tony Huxham and Mark Mackie for assisting in running the event and providing a radio watch from the BMYS base station.
All crews gathered in the Sports Bar to watch a replay of the event and relay their stories from out on the course.
