
Another good turnout of 85 members, some accompanied by family members, allowed the following projects to be completed on a balmy September Sunday morning.
New garden bed along cyclone fence on Pelican Quays
Revamped garden beds in front of the clubhouse
Removal of handrail on No3 Jetty access path, for replacement by end of September
Reinstall Salt Water Pump
Replace the garden edging next to the kids’ playground
Install solar-powered sensor lights on top of the cyclone fence on Pelican Quays
Initiate the desilting of the main ramp; this will be a regular function at all future working bees
Painting and rope installation to improve the Bridal Lawn area, both aesthetically and for safety
Reinstate some blue stone pitchers next to the Bridal Lawn
Polish the stainless steel handrail on the balcony
Polish the stainless steel BBQ surrounds and bench tops in the BBQ area
Install items within the building as requested by Alex and Anita
Painting and general cleaning up of a vast number of items throughout the grounds and buildings.
