A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Fire Safety Night at the club.
We were fortunate to have ‘Bushie’, a highly experienced firefighter with an incredible 48 years of service, lead the session. His practical knowledge and straight-talking approach made for an informative and engaging evening.
Bushie covered a range of important topics, including pre-trip boat preparation, hitching and tie-down checks, fire safety on board, recovering people from the water, and the correct use of fire extinguishers.
A great opportunity to pick up some practical safety tips and reminders from someone with decades of real-world experience.
