Anthony Heyde was farewelled on Tuesday 4th April as Club Manager of BMYS after 6 years in the role. There were approximately 200 Club members in attendance.
A presentation to Anthony from BMYS was made by Commodore Michael Busuttil.
Anthony will be taking up a new role in the hospitality sector.
Anthony joined the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron in May 2017. Over the past 6 years, he has been fundamental to the renaissance of the Club playing a pivotal role in driving the membership base to full capacity, hosting member‚'s nights and functions that have elevated the BMYS brand beyond measure.
Anthony‚'s passion, energy and dedication have been highly regarded and greatly appreciated by the members, their families and guests.
Over the years, Anthony has recruited and developed countless staff who have greatly benefitted from Anthony‚'s experience. Combined with executive chef Armin and his team, the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron team has become a formidable force in the hospitality arena. Whether it‚'s hosting a member‚'s night or a function, the great teamwork on display is a great credit to Anthony‚'s leadership qualities.
Anthony has formed many enduring and treasured friendships with staff, members, and guests and will be sadly missed.
Both Michael and Les expressed the Club's sincere gratitude to Anthony for his outstanding contribution and the enduring legacy he leaves and wished Anthony and his family all the success and happiness in the future.
