The Bogan Bingo Night at BMYS was a great success with over 100 people in for the night. A great meal was served and we were into the fun. Almost everyone who came dressed as their favourite bogan which set the scene for a great night.
We had two professional entertainers run a great themed night calling the bingo numbers with links to music from the 80‚'s and 90‚'s. There were many fun activities like an air guitar competition, which were fought hard to win. The final battle was between Kim Chislet and Ian Whiteside. Ian had an unfair advantage being an ex-band member. Although this was the case, Kim rocked on and smashed the crowd (and other things).
We had a coin toss to win a bottle of bourbon which Chris Gleeson showed his skills to win. He told me he had a secret technique. There were raffles and a lucky number competition to win $300 cash. There were two rounds of bingo and the loudest winner was Simon Bartaby.
During the night there was an award for the Bogan of the night which went to Mary Garett-Bond.
Finally we came to the end of the night where there was a crowning of the King and Queen Bogan which went to Anthony Heyde and Gay who both went to a great effort to get dressed to the theme. A big thanks goes to Kevin Moore and Sarah Baxter who did a great job on the night, Thanks also to Rob and Denise Mignone and Michael with Noelyn who did the organising and buying prizes.
