Flying Furlong
Boats are required to travel the "Furlong" (approx 400 meters) from a standing start in the shortest time possible.
The Judges may apply a correction based on boat size and horsepower to make it fair for all.Log Trial
This challenge is a run over a 1 NM straight course at a nominated constant speed by the boat crew. The boat must be on the plane at all times and the boat closest to their expected time over the distance wins.Navigation Challenge
To complete this event boats travel at a nominated speed over a short course (approx 2.5 NM) marked by buoys in the water. Timing checks will be collected at points around the course and the boat closest to their ETA at these checks wins.Docking Challenge
Each boat has one attempt to dock parallel to the jetty. The side of your boat must hit the target buoy.
