Un-Heated Menu Items

To begin the evening a selected few items from this menu is well suited as they are generally easiest to handle and eat whilst holding a glass.  These items will circulate through the room on platters as guest numbers build early on.

Cured Salmon Blini Huon smoked Tasmanian salmon on a savoury mini pancake with horseradish cream & dill
Assorted sushi served with soy dipping sauce (please advise if only vegetarian style is preferred)
California Nori Rolls (gf, v)

Mini Prawn Cocktail With fresh prawn meat, chiffonade of lettuce, diced tomato & house-made cocktail dressing

Peking Duck Wrap

Tender marinated duck wrapped in Chinese pancake with Spring onion & cucumber

Tomato Bruschetta (v)

Fine diced tomato mixed in with parmesan, olive oil and served on crunchy baguette slices

Goats Cheese & Red Cabbage Salad (v)

A choux pastry shell filled with a colourful cranberry & red cabbage salad

Thai Beef Slider

Tender marinated beef strips with crisp Asian slaw with julienne carrots on a Brioche bun

Tandoori Chicken Cone

With minted pea puree & Tahini yoghurt in a delicate wonton shell

Smoked Salmon Mini-Bagel

Lemon drizzled salmon with fine sliced Spanish onion & Crème fraiche on a Petite poppy-seed bun

Prawn Dumpling

In a steamed wonton casing served on an Asian spoon with soy & spring onion

Wild Mushroom Bruschetta (v)

A mixed ragout prepared with sour cream and served on toasted sliced baguette

A popular element to a Cocktail party at BMYS is the inclusion of a fork dish or a more substantial menu item, to be served once the evening has been established.

Selecting one of the following as a feature menu item will ensure each guest has every opportunity for something wholesome and filling, beyond the great finger food you had selected.

Fisherman’s Catch

Salt & Pepper Calamari, crumbed fish goujon, seasoned chips & creamy tartare

Thai ‘Red’ Chicken Curry

Served with fragrant jasmine rice in a noodle box

Chicken Schnitzel Roll

Prepared with lettuce, cheese with Harissa cream & seasoned chips on the side

Meatball Sub

A miniature version of a classic made with Sicilian-style meatballs with melted mozzarella

Beef Bourguignon

Richly flavoured beef, served with buttery mash in a noodle box

Chicken Fillets

Lightly crumbed and served with a side of seasoned chips & bbq plum sauce

Burger & Fries

A cheeseburger with bacon & tomato with seasoned chips on the side

Spanish Paella

Saffron rice mixed with chicken, chorizo & calamari pieces, served in a noodle box

Antipasto Upon Arrival
An added catering option to ensure vibrant colour and food in abundance for guests to snack upon and come back to throughout the event.
For an additional $7.50 per person, the room can have assorted antipasto placed strategically for guests upon arrival.
