Aside from having a Fantastic location and great facilities, BMYS has a great team. The dedicated service team at BMYS will take pride to ensure your experience at the club is a positive one. From a casual bistro meal to the most elaborate wedding, the club has a great working dynamic out front and behind the scenes to provide great service.


Anthony Heyde – Club Manager

Since having joined BMYS in 2017, I have become very confident in the benefits of such a unique and wonderful setting and feel strongly when promoting the ability of our team. The BMYS staff have a great positive attitude and will go the extra mile to ensure guests are made to feel welcomed and taken care of.
The club membership is such a positive aspect of BMYS, with no end of helpful people willing to pitch in to make the place even better. This is no more evident than the efforts members put in with volunteer work at club open days and working bees.
This club is in the fortunate position to have the services of a strong leader in the kitchen in Armin Pfister. The club catering and function cuisine is put together with a lot of thought and care and this shows in the kitchen output on any given day.
I welcome anyone interested in club life around the bayside area to come in to experience a night at the BMYS Bistro and they would soon see for themselves what a great place we have to relax and take in the brilliant bayside experience that Beaumaris has to offer.



Armin Pfister – Club Caterer

Armin operates his own catering company, Catering by the Sea.  Having been the sole BMYS contract caterer for several years now, Armin is sensitive to not only the specific preference the club members enjoy but maintains a fresh approach to event client needs also.

With a catering experience spanning back decades, Armin has held executive positions at Jupiters Casino, Crown and more recently as Executive Chef at Lobster Cave in Beaumaris.  Armin is also well-known in the area for having operated Citrus for many years and has brought a new level of sophistication to the function and event offering at BMYS.

As a creative chef, Armin will gladly explore whatever theme, or style of cuisine you may like to incorporate for your event.  Each week he sets out to showcase some of these innovations and changes during our weekly Bistro service.  We would invite anyone considering hosting a large-scale event at BMYS to book a table one Friday evening and sample something representative from the menu.
